They’re saying, “Hey, let’s be responsible so we don’t have to get tough later.” THAT’S LEADERSHIP. THAT’S WHAT WINNERS DO. PRIORITY NUMBER ONE: drinking, cooking, taking a shower. Everything else? NOT SO MUCH. Because of this drought — and it’s a REAL DROUGHT, BELIEVE ME — the water reserves are getting LOW. LOW! And if people don’t cut back voluntarily, next thing you know they’re bringing in the BIG RESTRICTIONS. Nobody wants that. Other towns in Ticino are already doing the same thing. It’s spreading.
