In the first quarter the Vaud group posted revenue of 1.2 billion dollars, up 7%. Net profit rose 61% and beat analysts' forecasts.
Logitech opened its 2026/2027 financial year with results above expectations. In the first quarter, covering April to June, the group posted revenue of 1.2 billion dollars, equivalent to one billion francs. Growth against the same period a year earlier was 7%.
Margins grew far faster than sales. The operating result rose 60% to 259 million dollars, while net profit increased 61% to 236 million. Both figures exceeded analysts' forecasts.
Chief executive Hanneke Faber spoke of an excellent quarter in a dynamic environment. She attributes the growth to innovation and sharper marketing, with effects spread across several product categories.
The share and the group's origins
The share currently trades at around 88 francs. It has gained 10% since the start of the year, while over twelve months the advance is 16%. The value nonetheless remains well below the peak reached in 2021, close to 125 francs, during the period of strong demand linked to working from home.
Faber is 57 and a Dutch national. Before turning to business management she was a seven-time national diving champion. She holds an MBA in business administration and a degree in journalism from the University of Houston, which she had joined on an athletic scholarship.
Logitech was founded in 1981 at Apples, in the canton of Vaud, and later expanded into Silicon Valley. Today it operates worldwide under several brands, including Logitech G, ASTRO Gaming, Ultimate Ears, Jaybird and Blue Microphones.
