Russian drone and missile attacks hit Kyiv, Sumy and Kharkiv

A Russian drone struck the Buchansky district in the Kyiv region. In Sofiivska Borshchahivka, two people were killed and three others were injured. The head of Kyiv's military administration, Timur Tkachenko, reported this on Telegram. Doctors and emergency services responded at the scene.

In the Boryspil district, in Schaslyve, a car was damaged. In the Bila Tserkva district, a barn and a multi-storey building were damaged.

In the city of Kyiv, three more people were injured in Russian attacks during the day. Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported this on Telegram, according to the Ukrinform news agency.

Sumy and Kharkiv also hit

The Sumy region was also targeted. In the Kovpakiv and Zarichny districts, two drone strikes were recorded in residential areas, the head of the military administration, Serhiy Kryvosheyenko, said on Telegram, according to Ukrinform. A "Lightning" missile hit the roof of a high-rise building in the Kovpakiv district, injuring a woman. Another missile of the same type hit the wall of a ten-storey building in an area already affected by earlier Russian bombing, causing no injuries.

In Kharkiv, Russian forces struck the Kyiv and Saltiv districts, damaging several residential buildings. At least 16 people were injured, including eight children, and two floors of a building were destroyed. Ukrinform reported this, citing the Telegram channel of the head of Kharkiv's military administration, Oleg Synegubov. Among the injured minors are a 12-year-old girl, an 8-year-old boy and a 3-year-old girl, who are receiving medical care.
